AFARA Concept site · fictional companyConcept
For healthcare professionals

About this site.

Afara Therapeutics is a fictional company, and this site is a design concept by AKINTADE Studio. Here is what it does with your visit, how it works for different people, and whose work it is built on.

Privacy.

Nothing you type here is sent or stored. The site has four forms: the trial check, the “Tell me when it opens” form, the medical information request and the side effect report. These forms check your answers in your own browser and stop there. There is no server behind them.

The site has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.

Two other companies see your visit. Netlify hosts the site and may record technical details of each request, such as your IP address (Netlify’s privacy policy). The typefaces load from Adobe Fonts, so your browser asks Adobe for them (what Adobe Fonts collects).

Accessibility.

We built the site to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. On 18 October 2026 we checked:

  • the forms, the menu, the professional check and the glossary search with a keyboard alone
  • names and error messages for screen readers
  • text contrast measured over the moving cell at four screen widths
  • pages at 320 px wide, with nothing scrolling sideways
  • the site in Safari on iPhone

Motion. The site follows your device’s reduce motion setting. The iris button in the header pauses all movement on every page.

The 3D cell is there to look at; everything it shows is also said in words. Without WebGL you see a still photograph of cells and every page still works.

What we have not done is test with a panel of people who use assistive technology every day. This is a concept site with no support team; if something does not work for you, tell AKINTADE Studio.

Cookies.

This site sets no cookies.

It can keep two small settings in your browser, and only if you use them. Neither leaves your device.

Motion paused
If you press the iris button in the header, the site remembers it on this device until you clear your browser’s site data.
Healthcare professional
If you confirm you are one on the medical information page, the site remembers it until you close the tab.

Every person named on this site is fictional, and so is the company.

Partners, investors and jobs.

Afara is not a real company, so it cannot take on partners, investors, patients or staff. The partnership prices, the open roles, the five programmes and the two studies are samples, written to show how such a site would work.

If you would like a site like this for your own company, talk to AKINTADE Studio, who designed and built it.
